Wentworth Youth Theatre is a voluntary youth theatre group founded in 2007 and led by Ian McGrath, who has many years experience teaching Drama. He leads a core team creating wonderful shows and organising auditions, theatre trips, events and performances.
The idea behind Wentworth Youth Theatre is to give young people from the area a chance to develop their drama skills, make friends, have fun and give them the opportunity, should they wish, to work towards nationally recognised qualifications which have real value and help deepen their engagement with the arts. If you want to find out more then get in touch. Our details are available by clicking 'contact us' at the the top of the page, we would love to hear from you!
If you have a role in 'Ebenezer' can you please get in touch with Ian (either directly or though the website email address) to confirm your acceptance of the role. It is important you do this so that the cast list is finalised. If you have any doubts about your role in 'Ebenezer' you should get in touch with Ian sooner rather than later.
We have two more productions coming up this season and we intend to share major roles around, so if you haven’t got a main role in 'Ebenezer' you may be successful later on this year at the auditions for 'The Suitcase Kid' and 'Honk'. The current cast list is available from the downloads section on the right of this page. A full rehearsal schedule will be sent out to Youth Theatre members via e-mail over the summer break.
